Cloud Time with special guest artists! Dec 14 at Heart and Hands - ART FOR THE VERY YOUNG

It’s Performance Art for the Very Young!!!

Sunday Dec 14th from 9:45am-12pm

This is a special mask-mandatory event for families with a child who is age 4 or under.

Reservations are free, and include a ticket for 1 child + 1 caregiver. You may bring additional babes in arms, older siblings or extra caregivers - pls reserve an additional ticket for extra family members and try to bring enough hands to supervise your crew.

We will build an enchanting sensory playspace under the dreamy clouds of the Heart and Hands Community room, and host live performances by

Anna Bigland-Pritchard (music and soundscapes), and

Erica Petty (theatre and dance)

Story Theatre (story time)

Picture twinkly lights, textiles, and lots of magical materials to touch, move, and create with will be built into a cloudy dreamscape environment.

Guest teaching artists from Story Theatre will also have books to read and outreach resources to give, as they lend a hand at the event.

Come build community with your fellow “baby + caregiver” village!

Pop in for as much or as littler of the event as you like.

We care about accessibility and equity of participation!

This event is Pay-What-You-Can and Mask Mandatory. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

TO BOOK: Register for 1 baby: 1 caregiver for free

PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN: You are welcome to send money for the reservation to info@theplaytheatre.com for the amount you wish to pay for 1 baby:1 caregiver. Alternately, you may bring cash to the event and pay when you arrive.

SUGGESTED TICKET PRICES: $15-35

CONSIDER THIS SCALE: $0 for the folks dumpster diving for their strollers, $20 for the folks who bought a 2nd hand stroller, $35 for the ones who spent more the $500 on theirs…

FOOD DRIVE: We will be joining Heart + Hands in fundraising for “Community Food Support Victoria”. Please bring dry or canned goods (protein, soup, or grains).

MUTUAL AID: Other mutual aid efforts may be announced closer to the event. We want to support and resource our community of young families who gather for the event.

Thank you for booking a ticket for 1 child + 1 caregiver for this special event. This ticket is part of a pay-what-you-can program, with a suggested price of $15-35. Your space is reserved no matter what you choose to pay on the day of. No one will be stopped from attending due to lack of funds.
